Job summary

Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for a Waterloo, Ontario facility. Start date is immediate with a schedule Sunday through Thursday, including Day/Afternoon shifts and straight midnights as needed.

The rate is $22.00–$23.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with potential for temporary to permanent placement. You will support machine operators, take measurements, and receive full training on equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing, machine shop, or similar setting.
• Ability to read digital micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Proficient English language skills, written and verbal.
• Willingness to work various shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support machine operators by loading and unloading parts.
• Take and record measurements using gauges and tools.
• Full training provided on specialized manufacturing equipment.

Location: Waterloo, ON

Role Type: Temporary – Permanent

Rate: $22.00/hr – $23.00/hr (dependent on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday

Swing Shift: Day’s (7:00 AM – 3:00PM) /Afternoon’s (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Straight Midnight’s: (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
