Overview

Randstad Guelph is looking for a passionate Machine Operator who enjoys working with a Slitter Machine and picking up new skills. The ideal candidate has a background in machine operating, is able to perform mathematical calculations, and is comfortable working in a dusty environment. This fast-growing company in the East end of Guelph is looking for a team of day shift Machine Operators for their fabrication shop. The wage starts at $20/hour, with a $2/hour shift premium for the afternoon shift. This shift runs on a 4/10 (Monday-Thursday).

Advantages

Responsibilities

• Read work orders
• Setup and calibrate machinery
• Load machines
• Run the machine and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished products
• Filling out required documentation
• Routine packaging
• Perform routine maintenance

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous experience on a Slitter Machine or similar machines is considered an asset
• Previous CNC experience
• Willingness and ability to learn
