Job summary

MACHINE OPERATOR

Our Machine Operators are responsible to set-up and operate various pieces of machinery specific to their area of responsibility and in accordance with blueprints, drawings and / or verbal instructions as applicable. Employees must be willing to work 8-hour shifts on a two-week shift rotation.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years experience in a related industrial background.
• Must have good mathematical skills have experience with using various measuring instruments.
• Forklift and/or Crane experience would be an asset
• Past experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards.
• Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment; adapt to change and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative and the ability to work well with others.
