Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies in Toronto seeks freelance beauty consultants to provide personalized makeup, skincare, hair or fragrance consultations. You will educate and delight customers, delivering an inspirational in-store experience as part of a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills in fast-paced beauty retail settings.
• Retail experience is appreciated but not essential for all applicants.
• Familiarity with in-store POS systems and transactions.
• Willingness to work retail hours including nights, weekends and events.
• Eligible to work legally in the country and attend interviews when invited.

As one of our highly skilled freelance sales associates (that provides either make-up application; skin care advice, hair or fragrance consultations) you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

While certification in makeup artistry and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, we also welcome applicants with beginner-level expertise. Qualifications

• While retail experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise

• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast⁃paced work environment
• Previous experience with retail point⁃of⁃sale software
