Job summary

EllisDon Corporation is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager - Commissioning Will to lead the mechanical and electrical commissioning on major projects. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and operations to ensure BAS and M&E systems function as designed and meet project requirements.

You will chair M&E meetings, monitor costs, and drive system integration, testing, and deficiency resolution while developing training for a smooth handover to facility

Qualifications

• Engineering/Mechanical degree or equivalent combination of technical training.
• Mechanical or Electrical Design experience considered an asset.
• Experience with commissioning, controls, BAS, system integration, or facility operations is a strong asset.
• Experience managing projects end to end: scope, tendering, installation, commissioning, closeout.
• 5–7 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical functions.
• Experience leading commissioning activities and validating performance of mechanical/electrical systems.
• This position is hybrid between Beaverlodge and Edmonton.

Responsibilities

• Plan the mechanical and electrical components of a project and align activities with the overall framework.
• Chair M&E meetings, track scheduling and costs, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Monitor material and labour costs for M&E and ensure quality reporting.
• Lead commissioning and controls activities, including system integration and testing.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and operations for BAS and M&E systems.
• Prepare and implement training programs for transition from construction to facility management.
