Job summary

Gucci in Ontario is seeking an Operations Controller to oversee the stockroom, maintain inventory accuracy, and support daily store operations, including troubleshooting issues. You will also help maintain stockroom organization and participate in annual inventories.

You will collaborate with the Store Director and Operations Manager to ensure timely merchandise movement, compliance with procedures, and resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in a similar role in fashion retail or luxury sector.
• Strong ethics, professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute shipping and receiving process and report issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and take necessary steps to resolve.
• Ensure timely movement of merchandise as directed, adhering to procedures including transfers, RTVs and damages.
• Assist with identifying problems in operations and resolve them quickly and timely.
• Maintain clear and accurate operations documents and procedures for reference.
• Submit all required tax-exempt forms as received.
• Communicate discrepancies/issues immediately to management.
• Process repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines.
• Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique.
• Place orders as needed for all supplies for the office and store.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines.
