Job summary

Realstar Corp. seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager for a premier luxury residence in Oakville. You will oversee daily maintenance, respond to resident requests, and support life-safety systems while helping manage expenses and staff development.

Lead maintenance teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure the property meets Realstar's high standards of cleanliness and resident service in a premium environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-residential property maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures (fire, flood, mould) is required.
• Ability to identify equipment malfunctions (HVAC, boiler).
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-focused.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy objects.
• Management experience and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service requests and coordinate repairs.
• Interview and onboard staff; mentor and train team.
• Create and monitor staff schedules and turnover planning.
• Supervise contractors; ensure work meets standards.
• Oversee budgets and capital plans with District Manager.
• Maintain building systems and safety procedures.
• Guide residents on maintenance requests via portal.
