Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, a landmark in downtown Vancouver, seeks an Hotel Manager to partner with the General Manager in guiding hotel operations, leadership development, and guest satisfaction. You will oversee Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and Security, maintaining brand standards and financial performance.

You will lead with visibility, drive operational excellence, and ensure superior guest experiences while navigating unionized environments and capital projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Progressive senior leadership experience in a full-service luxury hotel.
• Experience leading multiple operating departments in a complex hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and Security operations.
• A proven record of improving guest satisfaction, colleague engagement and financial results.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and applying collective agreement requirements.
• A post-secondary qualification in hospitality, business or a related discipline is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the General Manager in the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel, assuming their responsibilities when designated.
• Lead operational departments, including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Security, through their respective leaders.
• Establish clear priorities and hold department heads accountable for service quality, financial performance and colleague engagement.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel, engaging with guests and colleagues and identifying opportunities to improve operations.
• Lead operational briefings and meetings, ensuring coordinated decisions, effective communication and timely follow-through.
• Oversee safety, security and business continuity in partnership with departmental leaders.
