Job summary

A luxury hotel is seeking a multi-talented Director of Banquets in Vancouver to manage and supervise all facets of the Event Operations Department. The role requires exceptional guest service, and leadership skills, and the ability to conduct performance evaluations. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or college education, at least two years in a similar capacity, and a Food Handler Certification. This position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $105,000, plus incentives of up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Current and valid Food Handler Certification required.
• Experience in luxury or ultra-luxury properties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of the Event Operations Department.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Conduct performance appraisals and team training.
