Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is seeking an experienced Director of Banquets to lead the Banquet Department and elevate guest experiences for high-profile events. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will manage operations, SOPs, menus, and cross-department collaboration to deliver flawless service.

Responsibilities include developing standards, leading a banquet leadership team, ensuring financial performance, and coordinating with clients and departments

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Banquet Manager or Assistant Director of Banquets.
• Post secondary degree in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management is an asset.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to delegate tasks and lead teams effectively.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Fairmont service standards through SOPs and attention to detail.
• Strengthen banquet leadership skills including decision-making, performance management, and planning.
• Maintain clear communication with Banquets, Conference Services, and Culinary teams.
• Monitor revenues, costs and productivity to ensure financial success.
• Oversee seasonal dining venues and supervise equipment and safety standards.
