Job summary

Canfor Spruceland in Spruceland, AB is hiring a Production Labourer for our Remanufacturing facility. This entry-level role includes full training and a hands-on position producing high-quality lumber products. Expect a two-week rotating schedule: days then nights, with a 6:00AM-4:00PM day shift and 5:15PM-3:15AM night shift.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with full training provided.
• Must be safety-minded and dependable.
• Able to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with saws, chippers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Stack lumber manually or with mechanical assistance.
• Grade wood products by inspecting defects and applying grade stamps/labels.
• Move materials between workstations and load/unload products with forklifts.
• Support machine setup and changeovers; assist with housekeeping and cleanup.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain a safe work environment.
