Job summary

Bannister Hyundai Chilliwack is seeking a motivated Lube Technician to join our Service team. You will perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance while ensuring quality workmanship and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive, lube or tire experience is an asset.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and genuine interest in the automotive industry.
• Ability to operate shop equipment and hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Performing oil and filter changes and other routine maintenance services.
• Completing tire rotations, seasonal tire changes and basic tire services.
• Checking and topping up vehicle fluids.
• Inspecting tires, brakes, belts, hoses and other basic vehicle components.
• Completing basic vehicle inspections and identifying potential maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed.
• Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe.
• Following dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Supporting technicians and the Service team as needed.
• Providing efficient, quality workmanship on every vehicle.

The Drive Ahead

As a Lube Technician, you’ll help keep our customers safely on the road while supporting the day-to-day success of our Service Department. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing oil and filter changes and other routine maintenance services

Completing tire rotations, seasonal tire changes and basic tire services

Checking and topping up vehicle fluids

Inspecting tires, brakes, belts, hoses and other basic vehicle components

Completing basic vehicle inspections and identifying potential maintenance concerns

Maintaining accurate records of work performed

Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe

Supporting technicians and the Service team as needed

Performance Essentials

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Previous automotive, lube or tire experience is an asset
