Bride – Primary/Junior Prep and 0.2 for St. Theresa – Primary Prep, effective September 2, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Mandatory qualifications include basic qualifications to teach in the Primary and Junior Divisions.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications to teach in the Primary and Junior Divisions.
• Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and Ontario Kindergarten Program (2016).
• Experience with literacy and numeracy instruction and data-driven planning.
• Familiarity with Google Classroom, Google Meet, G-Suite tools and EDSBY.

Mother St. Bride & St. Theresa

1.0 FTE

0.8 FTE Mother St. Bride – Primary/Junior Prep - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

0.2 FTE St. Theresa – Primary Prep - Friday

Effective September 2, 2026 and not to extend beyond June 30, 2027

Mandatory Requirements

• Basic qualifications to teach in the Primary and Junior Divisions

Preferred Requirements

• Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in the above division
• Repertoire of current instructional and assessment strategies
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Understanding of the Ontario Curriculum, the Ontario Kindergarten Program (2016) and effective strategies to teach Literacy and Numeracy
• Knowledge and experience in supporting comprehensive (structured) literacy and the use of student data to drive instruction.
• Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom, Google Meet as well as additional G-Suite digital tools and EDSBY, to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents
• Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies
• Commitment to being an active participant in the school's professional learning team to promote student achievement
• Willingness to actively assume extra-curricular duties
• Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school environment would be an asset
• Additional qualifications in Special Education would be an asset
