Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is seeking a Teacher for Long Term Occasional positions across Our Lady of Fatima, St. Gregory, and St. Luke. The roles involve 0.4 FTE at Our Lady of Fatima, 0.4 FTE at St.

Gregory, and 0.2 FTE at St. Luke, with an effective start date immediately and an end date not extending beyond June 30, 2027. Qualified candidates will hold basic qualifications to teach in Primary, Junior and Intermediate divisions and bring knowledge of the Ontario

TEACHER – LONG TERM OCCASIONAL (LTO)

ST. GREGORY, OUR LADY OF FATIMA & ST. LUKE 1.0 FTE

• 0.4 FTE Our Lady of Fatima – Primary Prep (Monday & Tuesday)
• 0.4 FTE St. Gregory – Primary, Junior Music and Phys Ed Prep (Wednesday & Thursday)
• 0.2 FTE St. Luke – ELK and Intermediate English Prep (Friday)

Effective immediately,

For an indefinite period, but not to extend beyond June 30, 2027.

Mandatory Requirements

• Basic qualifications to teach in the Primary, Junior and Intermediate Divisions

Preferred Requirements

• Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in the listed divisions
• Repertoire of current instructional and assessment strategies
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Understanding of the Ontario Catholic Curriculum and effective strategies to teach Literacy and Numeracy
• Knowledge and experience in supporting comprehensive (structured) literacy and the use of student data to drive instruction.
• Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom, Google Meet as well as additional G‑Suite digital tools and EDSBY, to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents
• Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies
• Commitment to being an active participant in the school's professional learning team to promote student achievement
• Willingness to actively assume extra‑curricular duties
• Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school environment would be an asset
• Additional qualifications in Special Education would be an asset
