ID Logistics Canada in Milton, Ontario, is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. The role supports the Health and Safety Manager in implementing the Loss Prevention and Security Program and coordinating day-to-day activities to reduce inventory shrink.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Law Enforcement, Loss Prevention or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security or investigations.
• Experience with warehouse operations and physical security required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Protect company assets by preventing, detecting, and investigating theft, inventory loss, and other loss-related incidents.
• Monitor shrink, trends, discrepancies, and risk areas; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct investigations including interviews, CCTV review, evidence collection, and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete investigation files with chain of custody for evidence.
• Support security operations, monitoring CCTV, access control, and security post coverage.
• Assist with audits, post orders, and improvements to Loss Prevention programs.
