Job summary

Sport Chek is seeking a Store Loss Prevention Lead to help protect assets while delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for reducing loss by maintaining a visible LP presence on the floor and in departments during peak hours.

You will ensure proper LP tagging, secure high value products, log incidents, and partner with the Regional LP Manager. You will mentor associates on LP practices and hotspot awareness.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• 12+ months of previous experience as a Loss Prevention Officer or In-store Security is considered an asset.
• Previous experience training and mentoring employees

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to reduce internal and external loss within the store by being a presence on the sales floor and ensuring the LP Program is executed.
• Be a Loss Prevention presence at the front of store and in-department during high-risk hours.
• Ensure customers are acknowledged and product is secured following LP tagging standards for high value items.
• Log incidents and liaise with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager to share information.
• Coach associates to raise awareness of acknowledgment responsibilities and current LP hotspots
