Job summary

Sport Chek is hiring a Store Loss Prevention Lead to help reduce internal and external loss by maintaining a visible LP presence on the sales floor. You will train staff, log incidents, and coordinate with the Regional LP Manager to protect high-value items.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, prior LP or security experience, and a HS diploma with CPR/First Aid training. Your leadership drives store safety and product security.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail experience is asset.
• 12+ months of LP/ in-store security experience is asset.
• Experience training and mentoring employees.
• CPR & First Aid training is required or can be completed during employment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead loss prevention presence on the sales floor and in-department during high-risk hours.
• Coach associates to ensure awareness of LP protocols and hotspots.
• Log incidents and liaise with Regional Loss Prevention Manager.
• Ensure products are secured and LP tagging standards are followed.
