Job summary

Sewa Enterprise Ltd. à Surrey, BC, recherche un chauffeur routier permanent pour charges générales. Vous conduirez des camions droits ou articulés, chargerez/déchargerez les marchandises et effectuerez les contrôles pré- et post-trajet. Permis Classe 1/A et Endorsement Air Brakes requis. Stationnement gratuit et intégration communautaire assurés.

Relayer les informations au dispatch central et consigner les données de transport et de consommation de carburant.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'études secondaires exigé.
• Endossement Air Brakes et permis de conduire Classe 1/A requis selon le poste.
• Expérience considérée comme un atout, disponibilité à travailler sur de longues distances.

Responsibilities

• Charger et décharger les marchandises.
• Conduire des camions droits ou articulés pour transporter les biens et matériaux.
• Vérifier l'état du véhicule et inspecter pneus, lumières, freins et équipements.
• Effectuer les inspections pré-trajet, en cours de route et post-trajet et superviser tous les aspects du véhicule.
• Recevoir et relayer les informations au dispatch central.
• Enregistrer les informations sur le chargement, les heures de service, la distance parcourue et la consommation de carburant.

Tasks

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
