Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a professional truck driver to join our on‑road team. You will drive as part of a two‑person convoy, load and unload goods, and ensure safe vehicle operation across routes. You will perform inspections and maintain records of cargo, distance travelled and fuel usage.

The role requires AZ Class license with Air Brakes and Class 1/A endorsements, a valid passport, and a safety‑mocused approach to long hours on the road.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience as a trucking driver is an asset.
  • Candidates must have AZ Class license with Air Brakes endorsements and Class 1/A Licence.
  • A valid passport and a clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections; manage vehicle operations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

TASKS
