Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) based in Lévis is seeking a 4-axle truck driver to operate diverse trailers and handle long-distance trips across the Côte-Nord, Lower St. Lawrence, and Montreal regions. The role requires driving safely, maintaining equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position offers a starting wage of $28/hr with a $28.84/hr rate after probation, overtime paid after 40 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 FM driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Conscientious about Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual behavior.
• Demonstrates care and respect for equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to the United States with a valid passport.
• Safely operate a 4-axle truck.
• Complete long-distance trips in the Côte-Nord, Lower St. Lawrence, and Montreal regions.
• Use different trailers such as dump trailers, bins, and scrap trailers.
• Comply with the Highway Safety Code and related regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain logs up to date.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a 4-axle truck driver for our AIM Recycling site in Lévis! In this role, the truck driver will be required to use different types of trailers such as dump trailers, bins, and scrap trailers.

• Being able to travel to the United States and holding a valid passport;
• Safely operating a 4-axle truck;
• Completing long-distance trips in the Côte-Nord, Lower St. Lawrence, and Montreal regions;
• Using different types of trailers such as dump trailers, bins, and scrap trailers;
• Complying with the Highway Safety Code and other applicable regulations;
• Providing excellent customer service;
• Keeping equipment clean and in good working condition;
• Maintaining various logs up to date.

Qualifications
