Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Class 3 Driver for our Drummondville site. You will operate a 12‑wheel truck as part of a permanent full-time role, transporting metals to customers and AIM locations.

The role requires a valid Class 3FM licence, at least 2 years of experience, and a strong emphasis on Health and Safety. You will inspect, load/unload, and safely operate heavy vehicles while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• You hold a valid Class 3FM driver's licence and have a good driving record.
• You have a minimum of at least 2 years of experience.
• You are conscientious about Health and Safety.
• You are in excellent physical condition.
• You provide excellent customer service.
• You are reliable, diligent, and punctual.
• You have a strong respect for equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Transporting metals to our various customers as well as to the AIM site.
• Performing the inspection round before hitting the road.
• Participating in loading and unloading the trailer.
• Ensuring that safety standards established by law and by the employer are respected at all times without exception.
• Using different types of heavy vehicles as required.
