Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Class 3 driver for our Drummondville site to operate a 12 wheel truck on a permanent full-time basis. You will perform safety checks and drive to AIM customers and site locations with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role requires at least two years of driving experience, a solid safety mindset, and the ability to manage loading/unloading duties while maintaining professional conduct with clients and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 FM driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Health and safety conscious.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Excellent customer service.
• Reliable, diligent and punctual.
• Respect for equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Transporting metals to our various customers as well as to the AIM site.
• Performing the inspection round before hitting the road.
• Participating in loading and unloading the trailer.
• Ensuring that safety standards established by law and by the employer are respected at all times without exception.
• Using different types of heavy vehicles as required.
• Providing excellent customer service.
