Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Saint John, NB seeks a Terminal Clerk in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will process freight documentation, prepare dispatch packages, and monitor exceptions to ensure data accuracy from entry to trip reconciliation.

The role requires 1–2 years in logistics, Truckmate TMS experience, and strong data entry with professional communication. In-office schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:00am–8:00pm, at our Saint John terminal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, business, or related field is an asset
• 1–2 years of experience in a freight, logistics, or transportation environment preferred
• Truckmate TMS experience is a strong asset
• CBSA procedures, customers documentation, and in-bond shipments experience is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to customer needs in a timely and professional manner
• Enter freight bills accurately from a variety of mediums, ensuring data integrity
• Print and prepare documentation packages for the operations team
• Prepare and set up trips for dispatch within dispatching software system (Truckmate)
• Reconcile completed trips in accordance with driver check-in procedures
• Code undelivered freight bills and follow up to resolve items
• Monitor OS&D claims and take corrective action
• Monitor No POD report and take appropriate actions
• Conduct On Time Delivery exception auditing and escalate issues
• Scan and file documents to maintain organized records
• Attend pre-planned meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Terminal Supervisor or Regional Manager
