Job summary

Cencora in Mississauga is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support daily import/export operations at our onsite location. The role involves coordinating with teams, acting as a contact for customer segments, and assisting the Operations Manager on complex assignments.

The candidate should have at least 2 years in customer care, strong English and/or French communication, and flexibility to work multiple shifts. Travel may be required; bilingualism is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer care with a High School diploma.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for target customer segments.
• Resolve complex problems related to shipments and non-shipments.
• Address customer complaints and drive systemic improvements.
• Stay abreast of changes affecting target customers.
• Guide colleagues and sales toward better outcomes with customer segment expertise.
• Develop trusting relationships with target customers.
• Support customers on-site.
• Assist BDMs during meetings with clients.
• Support Operations Manager on complex assignments (CAPA’s, monthly checks, incident responses).
• Provide leadership in absence of Customer Service/Operations Lead.
• Join Specialized teams as needed (EPL, TCS, DTP, CGT, CT).
• Assist in training new employees and act as SME.

Job Details

The Logistics Specialist will support daily import and export operations for an onsite Mississauga location.

Shift: Sunday will be at 09:00 to 17:30 start, Monday to Thursday will be 13:00 to 22:00 Start time

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the main points of contact for the target customer segments.
• Complex problem resolution, shipment and non-shipment related.
• Addressing customer complaint and driving efforts for systemic improvements.
• Stay abreast of changes in the environment of targeted customers.
• Be an internal expert on the customer segment helping to guide colleagues and sales towards better outcomes.
• Develop a trusting relationship with target customer segment.
• Support customers on-site.
• Accompany and assist BDM’s during their meetings with current and prospective clients
• Able to provide assistance to the station Operations Manager on complex assignments which could include but is not limited to authoring CAPA’s, monthly checks, problem resolution responses to incident and customer comments.
• Provide leadership support in the absence of the Customer Service/Operations Lead
• Ability to be named to a Specialized team (EPL, TCS, DTP, CGT, CT etc)
• Assisting in the training of new employees.
• Act as a buddy and a mentor to new and developing colleagues
• Everyone is responsible for following up on live jobs, even if not your order.
• Assist the Training Specialist in developing new training materials and act as a subject matter expert.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer care coupled with a High School diploma

• Potential for travel to a multitude of destinations worldwide.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French

• Creative problem solving

• Flexibility to work multiple shifts

• The ability to work with minimal supervision

• Bilingualism, French/English an asset

• The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
