Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support daily import and export operations at our onsite Mississauga location. The role will include coordinating shipments, resolving issues, and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in customer care, bilingual English/French is an asset, and be willing to travel. This is a 12-month contract with opportunities to contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer care with a High School diploma.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English and/or French.
• Creative problem solving with flexibility to work multiple shifts.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for target customer segments and support onsite operations.
• Resolve complex problems related to shipments and non-shipments and drive improvements.
• Assist the Sales team and BDMs during client meetings and onsite visits.
• Provide leadership support in absence of the Operations Lead and train new staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure live jobs are followed up.

Job Details

The Logistics Specialist will support daily import and export operations for an onsite Mississauga location.

Shift: Sunday will be at 09:00 to 17:30 start, Monday to Thursday will be 13:00 to 22:00 Start time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the main points of contact for the target customer segments.
• Complex problem resolution, shipment and non-shipment related.
• Addressing customer complaint and driving efforts for systemic improvements.
• Stay abreast of changes in the environment of targeted customers.
• Be an internal expert on the customer segment helping to guide colleagues and sales towards better outcomes.
• Develop a trusting relationship with target customer segment.
• Support customers on-site.
• Accompany and assist BDM's during their meetings with current and prospective clients
• Able to provide assistance to the station Operations Manager on complex assignments which could include but is not limited to authoring CAPA's, monthly checks, problem resolution responses to incident and customer comments.
• Provide leadership support in the absence of the Customer Service/Operations Lead
• Ability to be named to a Specialized team (EPL, TCS, DTP, CGT, CT etc)
• Assisting in the training of new employees.
• Act as a buddy and a mentor to new and developing colleagues
• Everyone is responsible for following up on live jobs, even if not your order.
• Assist the Training Specialist in developing new training materials and act as a subject matter expert.

Experience and Educational Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer care coupled with a High School diploma
• Potential for travel to a multitude of destinations worldwide.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French
• Creative problem solving
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• Bilingualism, French/English an asset
• The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
