Job summary

Ben-Mor Cables Inc. in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC, is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a full‑time, on‑site role. You will prepare, verify, and organize merchandise for shipment, ensuring orders are complete and accurate.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will handle packing, shipping documents, inventory movement, and participate in training new employees while complying with ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to read imperial and metric measurements.
• Ability to use scales and measuring instruments.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work at heights and under pressure.
• Teamwork, punctuality, reliability and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders according to customer specifications and purchase orders.
• Package products for shipment.
• Complete shipping documentation and forms.
• Unload commercial product containers.
• Move and organize incoming merchandise during receiving operations.
• Place products into inventory.
• Conduct inventory counts (required).
• Participate in training new employees.
• Follow established work procedures and deadlines.
• Comply with ISO standards and procedures.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
