Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Canada seeks a site operations leader to oversee inbound and outbound activities, ensuring profitability, safety, and regulatory compliance while delivering a high level of service. You will manage staffing, coordinate with planning, and drive performance across warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, monitoring KPIs, controlling costs, and ensuring timely, accurate paperwork and customer communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years related experience.
• Minimum three years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Three years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage inbound and/or outbound site operations to meet customer standards and budget.
• Plan and monitor daily staffing to support operational demands and objectives.
• Ensure safety directives and procedures are implemented and followed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Oversee administrative functions and ensure compliance in paperwork and records.
• Coach, train and mentor direct reports and provide career development opportunities.
• Coordinate daily with other departments to align service priorities and coverage needs.
• Consolidate forecasted volumes and coordinate with Planning to ensure proper linehaul capacity.
• Maintain communication with warehouse teams to ensure service levels and timely task completion.
• Monitor KPIs and escalation of risks with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee OSD follow-up and ensure timely resolution.
