Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a capable Team Lead to oversee warehouse floor employees, ensuring efficient operations and KPI achievement. The role emphasizes coaching, problem-solving, and strong communication to drive a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years in a supervisory role in a logistics setting, with RFID experience, a college diploma in logistics/transportation, and the ability to work afternoon or night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ Team Lead experience in transportation/operational/warehouse.
  • Working knowledge of RFID scanning systems/devices.
  • A College Diploma is required, with a plus in logistics or transportation.
  • Ability to provide leadership to a diverse group of employees.
  • Ability to train, motivate, coach and counsel others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with customers and employees.
  • Problem solving, conflict resolution, decision making and planning/organizing skills.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management and computer skills.
  • Must be creative and possess the ability to think outside the box.
  • Must be able to work afternoons; nights if required
  • Travel: 0-10% locally and to the US; Must be legally able to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and resolving problems and articulating the problem and outcome to the management team
  • Understanding, influencing and overseeing the achievement of Operational KPIs for your team
  • Proactively coordinating actions that will ensure operations are efficient and meeting requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs
  • Troubleshooting scanner issues
  • Providing coaching and motivation to fellow team members and providing support with their jobs as required

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Fast paced package sortation environment
  • Conveyor machinery noise
  • Must be willing to work afternoon/night shift
  • Constant standing and walking through the shift
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Some kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
  • Some work on a computer on a desk
  • Ascending and descending stairs, ladders and ramps
