Job summary

Penske Logistics Canada Ltd. in Kitchener, ON, is seeking a Load Planner to develop the logistics design plan for the customer inbound supply chain.

The role creates instructions for internal groups and the customer’s providers to implement the plan and identifies opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings through analysis and proposed changes. This contract role spans 14 to 20 months and follows a Monday to Friday day shift; the incumbent will support logistics design, data-driven

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and Outlook skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develops day-to-day route design deliverables for the customer.
• Coordinates logistics system implementations with customers and suppliers.
• Develops and maintains cross-dock logistics tools and services.
• Provides data for management reporting and supports data-driven decisions.
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.
