Job summary

Mariposa Dairy in Lindsay, Ontario is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across the supply chain. You will work to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries and optimize transportation costs.

You will partner with Production, Warehousing, Customer Service, and external carriers, maintain inventory accuracy, and support food-safety compliance. Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• SCMP designation considered an asset.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing or customer fulfillment.
• ERP systems experience; strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Understanding of transportation management and inventory control principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments through approved transportation carriers.
• Schedule and monitor deliveries to customers, distributors, and third-party warehouses.
• Obtain freight quotes and support cost-effective transportation decisions.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, shortages, damages, and service issues.
• Maintain carrier relationships and monitor performance against service expectations.
• Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
• Coordinate customer orders to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Review daily order requirements and communicate priorities to warehouse and production teams.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to manage delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory availability and identify potential supply constraints.
• Resolve order discrepancies and customer shipment issues.
