Job Description:

American Eagle Carrier Inc. is seeking a proactive and results-driven Logistics Coordinator to support our freight operations. This individual will be responsible for finding loads for our fleet, negotiating rates with customers and carriers, and brokering freight to third-party carriers when needed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of the transportation industry, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and secure freight loads for company-owned trucks.
• Negotiate rates with customers, shippers, and carriers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight brokers, direct shippers, and carrier partners.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure proper load assignment and scheduling.
• Post available equipment and loads on load boards (e.g., Loadlink, DAT).
• Broker excess freight to partner carriers when internal capacity is full.
• Monitor load status and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Ensure all required documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of our freight network.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in freight brokerage, dispatching, or logistics coordination is an asset.
• Fast learner.

Job Details:
