Discovery Community College is committed to academic excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our campus’ across BC working out of the Surrey, BC campus.
About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various logistical systems, ensuring smooth operations and efficient resource utilization. This role requires proactive problem-solving, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.
This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future advancements within the college.
Rate Range: $48,000-$55,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the procurement and distribution of educational materials, supplies, and equipment, including:
- Textbooks / E-books
- Lab Kits
- Uniforms
- Pop-up Labs (equipment, space rental)
- Collaborate and assist with faculty, staff, students, and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate communication.
- Maintain and update logistical records, databases, and inventory management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and institutional guidelines.
- Assist in planning and coordinating logistics for campus events.
Qualifications- Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a similar role within Education preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and logistics software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Work Schedule- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required with prior notice.
