Job summary

Altis Technology in Newmarket, ON is seeking an organized Expeditor/Logistics Coordinator to join a busy automotive manufacturing team. You will coordinate supplier deliveries, monitor shipments, and resolve issues so production runs smoothly.

The role requires 3 years in manufacturing/logistics, strong Excel, and experience with SAP or ERP/MRP systems. You will work with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations to keep production on track.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and drivers.

• Communicate shipment updates and elevate delivery or material issues when required.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and logistics information within SAP and other internal systems.
• Prepare reports and analyze data related to inventory, supplier performance, and logistics activities.
• Support customs documentation and trade compliance activities as needed.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations teams to keep production running efficiently.

About the Role

We're looking for an organized and proactive Expeditor/Logistics Coordinator to join a busy automotive manufacturing team. In this role, you'll help ensure the right materials and parts arrive on time so production can continue without interruption. Working closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations, you'll coordinate supplier deliveries, monitor shipments, and resolve issues before they impact production.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and communicating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 03 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.

• High sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem solving.Experience with customs documentation, import/export processes, or CVSA reporting is considered an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
