Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless outgoing shipments. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the shipping function including the loading of materials regularly, with the potential for some heavy lifting (infrequent). Other responsibilities will include the inspection of outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality, and they will be required to generate shipping documents, and customs documents (if required), and scheduling freight appointments. The Logistics Coordinator must understand the impact of this position on other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of outgoing items. Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position.
