Job summary

Otis Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator in Burnaby, British Columbia to deliver high quality parts and services that meet customer needs.

On a typical day you will manage inventory, order materials, ship and receive parts, track deliveries, optimize warehouse layout, and support safety standards while using a forklift. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, 1–3 years of related experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Otis Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, extremely organized Logistics Coordinator to deliver high quality products and services that meet customer needs.

On a typical day you will:

  • Responsible for inventory control; record all inventory movement, including handling product returns.
  • Ordering new material as required.
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving parts, delivering parts to jobsites as required.
  • Tracking deliveries and effectively communicating the information to the operation team
  • Develop processes to make the supply chain more efficient and organized
  • Take ownership of organizing the warehouse space and ensure it maintains safety standards
  • Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift

What you will need to be successful:

Education / Certifications

  • High school degree or equivalent required

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Experience using a forklift and working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage the workflow
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Warehouse experience preferred

The range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
