ALS Canada Ltd. in Calgary is seeking a Login Assistant to manage the intake of samples, verify client information and enter pertinent data into laboratory systems.
You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver quality, timely service to clients. Key duties include coordinating daily sample reception activities, serving as the main contact for sample submission questions, and ensuring accurate labeling, paperwork and due dates.

About the Position: The Login Assistant is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of incoming samples into the analysis stream. The priority will be to receive and organize samples, verify client information, and enter pertinent information into the laboratory data systems. You will be working independently and in a team environment, with an emphasis on providing quality and efficient service to clients.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs./23 kg on a regular basis and carry for short distances; Wear issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves etc., when required; Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks; Ability to stand for up to a full shift; Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities; You may be exposed to unpleasant fumes; Please note that ALS operates 24/7 and will require day, afternoon, and graveyard shift work including weekends.
