Civeo Pacific Northwest Employees LP is seeking a Lodge Manager to lead day-to-day operations for Sitka Lodge located in Kitimat, BC. Reporting to the Sr.

Operations Manager, this role provides leadership and balance in operational priorities with a commitment to safety, guest experience, employee engagement and business performance. This position will be on a rotation basis 15 days on / 13 days off as required by the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in hotel and food services management.
• Class 5 Operator's License, 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's criteria.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Lodge profitability and productivity targets.
• Develop sales strategies and targets.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and financial planning.
• Track and monitor contractual KPIs.
• Maintain quality assurance and control of all lodge operations.
• Ensure productivity goals are met.
• Establish performance standards and expectations.
• Oversee recruitment, mentorship and development of direct reports.
• Develop and maintain superior customer relations.
• Respond to operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial licensing laws, health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure productivity goals are met.


• Establish performance standards and expectations.


• Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of direct reports.


• Develop and maintain superior customer relations.

• Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.


• Lead and develop a safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel and food services management.


• Class 5 Operator's License, with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's driving criteria.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.


• Exceptional leadership and management skills.


• Experience in managing a unionized work force.


• Knowledge of remote lodge operations is an asset.


• Self-motivated in managing a facility through initiative and innovation to achieve results in a safe and profitable manner.


• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interaction with clients, guests and staff


• Conflict resolutions skills.


• Aptitude to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


• Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals.

• Must be able to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test.
