Job summary

Civeo Pacific Northwest Employees LP is seeking a Lodge Manager to lead Sitka Lodge operations in Kitimat, BC. This role reports to the Sr. Operations Manager and focuses on safety, guest experience, employee engagement and business performance.

Rotation: 15 days on / 13 days off as required by the business. Key responsibilities include achieving profitability, developing sales targets, forecasting, KPI tracking, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel and food services management.
• Class 5 Operator's License with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's criteria.
• Experience in managing a unionized workforce.
• Knowledge of remote lodge operations is an asset.
• Must pass pre-access Drug & Alcohol test.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve lodge profitability and productivity targets.
• Develop sales strategies and targets.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and financial planning.
• Track and monitor contractual KPIs.
• Maintain quality assurance and control of lodge operations.
• Oversee recruitment, mentorship and development of direct reports.
• Develop and maintain superior customer relations.
• Respond to operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other regulations.
• Lead and develop a safety culture.
