Job summary

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator for a lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. You will oversee the hygienic condition of bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways and laundry areas, reporting to the supervisor.

The role includes a 21 days on / 7 days off rotation, with day, night, weekend shifts and statutory holidays. Responsibilities include leading staff, maintaining standards, coordinating room assignments, preparing briefings, conducting new-hire training, and ensuring

• Supervisory experience is an asset.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill the position of a Housekeeping Coordinator at one of our lodges located near Fort McMurray, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and laundry rooms.Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will work21 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen and maintain excellent communication skills with all members of staff.
• Provide guidance to fellow staff, lead by example.
• Ensure quality and standards are being met/exceeded.
• Collect sheets from Housing Office.
• Assign rooms to the Housing/Retail Workers.
• Prepare morning briefing.
• Clean rooms and/or washrooms.
• Conduct the training program with the new hires.
• Prepare the night shift rooms list.
• Check the linen count for Laundry pickup and delivery days.
• Lead safety meetings.
• Inspect facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Assist with inventory as required.
• Determine areas of improvement within housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills in a fast paced environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
• Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs.
