Job summary

The City of Regina is seeking a Carpenter Locksmith to maintain safe, secure civic facilities. You will install, repair and maintain locks, hardware, doors and building components while supporting projects across City properties.

Reporting to the Trades Coordinator, you will ensure quality workmanship, apply building codes, and work on renovation and maintenance tasks in a dynamic public service environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certificate in Carpentry with recent trade experience.
• Minimum 4,000 hours of locksmith experience within the past five years.
• Strong knowledge of locking systems, building codes, construction practices, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain locks, hardware and doors across City properties.
• Support construction, renovation and maintenance projects at City facilities.
• Ensure high quality, safe and compliant workmanship in all tasks.
