Job summary

Fairstone Bank is hiring a Loan Consultant in Canada to grow the business by promoting loan and protection products while understanding customer needs and driving the sales process from application to closing.

You will build strong relationships, deliver excellent service, and stay focused on individual and team targets. Credit assessments, payments processing, and overdue management are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with targets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-first mindset and passion for delivering value.

About The Role

As a Loan Consultant, you’ll play a key part in growing our business by:

• Actively promoting and selling loan and protection products in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
• Understanding customer needs to recommend the right financial solutions
• Managing the entire sales process, both in person and virtually — from application to closing
• Building strong relationships and earning trust through excellent service
• Staying focused on individual and team sales goals
• Performing credit assessments, processing payments, and managing overdue accounts

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma (post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset)
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
