Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Warehouse Loader in Vaughan, ON to load and unload trucks, verify counts, and keep the work area clean and safe. The shift runs from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with emphasis on proper lifting techniques and teamwork.

Required education includes Grade 12 or equivalent; forklift certification is preferred if required by the role. Prior manufacturing experience helps but is not mandatory. Westlake promotes safety, reliability, and collaborative work.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Forklift certification acquired through company-sponsored training if required.
• Manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks accurately and safely.
• Ensure counts are correct and helpers are paired for each crate.
• Use proper lifting techniques when handling crates of siding.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace; pick up debris and sweep areas.
• Assist in loading tautliners and flatbeds with help from teammates.
• Secure loads with straps and ensure safe delivery to destination.
• Participate in inventory counts when needed.
