Job summary

Sterling Karamar Property Management in Oshawa is seeking a Property Maintenance/Resident Manager to keep the building in excellent condition and to support leasing operations.

You will supervise trades, coordinate repairs, manage tenant relations, process applications, collect rents, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards across common areas and grounds. The role requires on-site work and a proactive approach to tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 3–5 years of technical and practical experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Resident Manager is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise trades and coordinate facilities service and repairs.
• Maintain property using Property Vista; issue PRs as needed.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and file reports when required.
• Handle leasing tasks: process applications, sign tenancy agreements and move-ins.
• Collect rents and manage cheque deposits.
• Ensure safety systems and daily checks for mechanical rooms and common areas.
