Job summary

Realstar is seeking a Cleaner to live and work at a Cornwall, Ontario property. This on-site role requires four weekdays per week, every second weekend, and some evenings on-call.

You will clean common areas, vacant suites, and exterior spaces, and report safety or curb appeal issues to the Resident Manager. The position includes a taxable apartment, benefits, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Pleasant demeanour.
• Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of common areas (lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms).
• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies.
• Exterior cleaning duties including maintenance of underground garage, parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops.
• Report serious deficiencies about curb appeal, safety or hazards to the Resident Manager.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to live and work at one of our properties in Cornwall, ON. This position would require you to live on-site and work four weekdays each week, every second weekend and on-call some evenings. This offer is for an existing vacant position within the organization.

Key Responsibilities of Building Cleaner

• General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping
• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies
• Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property
• Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends
• Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction
• Perform other duties as assigned
