Job summary

Wesgroup Properties LP. is seeking a Live-In Residential Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep of a 71-unit rental building and nearby properties in BC.

You will work closely with the Resident Building Manager and janitorial staff to keep amenities safe and well-maintained. The role includes a live-in suite provided at start of employment, with on-site and portfolio-wide maintenance support and after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in residential or commercial building maintenance or repairs.
• Strong customer service skills with residents and contractors.
• Strong reading and interpretation of specifications, as-built drawings, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance for building systems.
• Support suite turnovers, repairs, and unit readiness between tenancies.
• Operate and monitor building systems and respond to service requests.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide on-call maintenance coverage across Wesgroup properties.
