Confidential, a personal injury law firm serving clients across the region, seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all stages of litigation. The role requires strong drafting, case management, research, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in civil litigation, a paralegal certificate or related degree, and proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of civil litigation paralegal experience, personal injury preferred.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or a related Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and litigation processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, and file pleadings with deadlines and proper formatting.
• Prepare and propound discovery, ensuring proper service and captions.
• Maintain regular client communication to obtain needed information.
• Review case files, medical records, and discovery materials for case development.
• Draft responses to discovery requests with appropriate objections, protecting privacy.
• Draft and format additional discovery documents, including deposition notices.
• Organize and maintain case files and documents in proper folders.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, medical exams, and expert appointments.
• Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and trial binders.
• Support attorneys during trial with exhibits, witnesses, and case materials.
