Paralegal – Plaintiff Personal Injury Civil Litigation

Location: Inland Empire, California — sit in Ontario, Redlands, or San Bernardino California

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days from home after 90-day probation period

About the Role

LHH is working with a well-regarded plaintiff-side litigation firm to identify a seasoned Civil Litigation Paralegal. This is a dynamic opportunity for a legal professional who is eager to contribute meaningfully to impactful litigation. Our client tackles complex litigation cases with professionalism and drive!

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Conducting factual and legal research using platforms like LexisNexis, Westlaw, and public records databases.
• Managing case files—both electronic and physical—using legal practice management software.
• Maintaining litigation calendars and ensuring all court deadlines and filing requirements are met.
• Summarizing medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses to support case strategy.
• Assisting with trial preparation, including witness coordination, exhibit organization, and courtroom logistics.
• E-filing documents with state and federal courts with precision and timeliness.
• Supporting client intake and communication with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in plaintiff-side civil litigation.
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Strong understanding of California court procedures, local rules, and e-filing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
