Liquor Store Supervisor

Location: 207-208, 97 Center Street, Langdon, AB T0J 1X2

Work setting: Rural area, Retail business, Liquor and wine store

Salary: $22.00 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train staff or arrange for training
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Order and authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve customer issues, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 3-4 workers, including cashiers and sales clerks

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 to 2 years of experience
• Languages: English
• Work must be completed on-site; remote work not available
