Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to manage production Linux environments, automate tasks with Ansible, and support IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).

You will provision, patch, monitor, and secure systems, develop automation, document procedures, and participate in incident response and changes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Linux administration, preferably RHEL.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automation.
• Solid shell scripting, patching, networking, storage, and monitoring.
• Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Experience supporting 24x7 production environments and handling incidents.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux infrastructure administration, automation using Ansible, and working knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers in production environments.
• Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, capacity management, and performance tuning.
• Manage users, permissions, file systems, storage, services, networking, and system security.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and scripts to automate routine administration, configuration, patching, and deployment activities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency through automation.
• Perform incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for Linux infrastructure issues.
• Support IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration, including deployments, service management, configuration, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Support production changes, maintenance activities, vulnerability remediation, and operational health checks.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 100,000 Per Year
