Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a Linen Runner for the winter season at Blue Mountains, ON. This part-time role covers 1-3 shifts per week (8-hour shifts) from December through March, with duties including delivering and performing housekeeping tasks for guests staying additional nights.

You will enter guest rooms to replenish supplies, support Room Attendants, and help maintain room cleanliness in a fast-paced resort environment.

• Must be energetic and comfortable speaking with people.

Responsibilities

• Enter occupied guest rooms to replenish towels, remove garbage and remake beds.
• Provide housekeeping support to Room Attendants and Houseperson, delivering services to guests staying another night.
• Clean bathrooms, toilets, vacuum, tidy rooms, and replace sheets.
• Work at a fast pace while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with stripping dirty linens and removing garbage from rooms.

It may also involve providing support and assistance to the Room Attendants and Houseperson team. The Runner’s main role will be delivering housekeeping service to guests who are staying with us for another night by entering their room and performing general housekeeping duties.* Enter occupied guest rooms to replenish towels, remove garbage and remake beds. This position may also include cleaning bathrooms, toilets, vacuuming, general tidying of room and replacing sheets.* Work at a fast pace while still adhering to our quality standards. This position is physically demanding and involves being on your feet all day, walking long distances, lifting to 50lbs, pushing and pulling loaded housekeeping carts, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.* Help the Room Attendants by stripping dirty linens and terry from the guest rooms, emptying and removing garbage and recycling.
